Are you looking for something to sing in the New Year?
Portsmouth Choral Union warmly invites you to Come and Sing with them, a vibrant mixed-voice choir of over 100 singers, to experience the wonder of Haydn’s Nelson Mass. Many consider the “Nelson Mass” to be among Haydn’s greatest compositions. It is particularly praised for its turbulent opening, and for its conclusion in a triumphant D major, reflecting a sense of victory over adversity.
This half-day workshop takes place on Saturday, 31st January. It will be led by their Musical Director, David Gostick, an expert choral specialist.
Family and friends are very welcome to come along and listen to what you have learnt. So, the afternoon ends with a sing through for your guests. Tickets available for £5.
Come and be part of this unforgettable musical experience. For more information and to book your place, simply email Sonia: pcuregistrar@gmail.com
They really hope to see you there!
