 pating in the upcoming Portsmouth Sing 100 Festival. Singers will be join
 ing with musicians from five other local groups to perform a Gala concert 
 in Portsmouth Guidhall to commemorate the 100th year of Portsmouth gaining
  city status.\n\nOrganised by Portsmouth City Council\, the University of 
 Portsmouth and Portsmouth Cathedral - and presented by many groups associ
 ated with the city - the Sing100 three-day festival celebrates classical 
 and light music connected with Portsmouth and the huge array of professio
